Today, I have release Version 1.0 of my Sauerbraten editing cheat sheet. You can download it from my site, or here on Quadropolis.

The cheat sheet's aim is to give both new and experienced developers a desktop help that they can have on hand when editing levels. Version 1.0 only covers basic editing, with future versions to include heightmap, entity and other config settings that users find handy.

Anyone is welcome to download, and contribute or make suggestions to the project, which forms part of a series of tutorials on Sauerbraten I am planning.

It's a nice idea ...
But you really should fix up the "edit config.cfg"-hint - because people really shouldn't - this file gets overwritten, use autoexec.cfg.
Also I can't imagine printing this brown sheet will be very cost-efficient ... try using a white background if your really serious about it being a cheatsheet ;-)

The distribution doesn't create one for you,
you always have to create it yourself.
It should at least contain a line to set your name ...

You don't have to create one, but it can be very useful if you want to add new features without tampering with the important files, thus mean that if you do something wrong, you can delete your autoexec.cfg file and it will return to normal, without having to scroll through miles of code to correct it.
You can also adjust options to your taste that aren't displayed on the GUI. (In-game menu.)

Just open notepad, type whatever code you need, and save it as "autoexec.cfg"
Make sure you type .cfg at the end, otherwise it will just save as a text file.

Why not apply for access to the Cube Wiki, and contribute to the expansion and creation of the tutorials there? Beginners Guide needs some serious TLC, and there's definately room for a cheat sheet page.
