I really like this script. I did modify it to reduce crosshair size on zoomin, but besides that, excellent script.

too activate this script,
1. put the adsnipe.cfg in the main sauerbraten folder.
2. go to notepad
3. type in notepad: "exec adsnipe.cfg"
4. save the notepad file as "autoexec.cfg" in the main sauerbraten folder.
5. enjoy!

hey, can I put this into a scripting pack that I'm making?

This might just be me, but this script doesn't work. I installed it and everything and did not even change the default buttons (LALT) and the thing will actually zoom in with LALT but if I try to change the zoom (using the scrollwheel on my mouse) it says "unknown command: delta_game_1" when the mouse scrolls down. Any suggestions?

And this confuses me since delta_game_1 isn't even a command within the cfg.

If you define the delta_game_1 function, all sorts of happiness will result. Substitute your preferred fov for the 120s in what follows. If you prefer to zoom more or less quickly, adjust the 5 as needed:
