Blurb A map in the sewers.

Detailed description

A long time ago i had learned to create pipes. I made a great map out of those pipes, but then later lost it. This is a remake of that map, and although it may not be the same its definately not worse :P. Its good for insta, but then again i like insta on all maps. It also works for capture. Tell me what you think.

P.S. I would like to point out that this is a map decated to the Dark Angels clan of which im a member and am constructing the web page.

me and ablindman were working on it today and we have a majorly updated version, ask him for it =)

you forgot to do dedication on this too btw, dont worry, i did in in the new one lol

The title is catchy, the gameplay is excellent, the ammounition is perfectly placed so this map is a winner. :)

P.S: The green sludge could be replaced with the cube texture Sludge or sludge_l
It might match the scene slightly more than green radiation :]

It's pretty cool to see a map that you've contributed to. (Even though it was just a few stacked boxes, barrels, and a light up the top in the room in the bottom right screenshot.)

It's also pretty cool to have a decent map made in Coopedit!

Nice job, and much nicer than the last time I saw it!

Also, I'm wondering how you made green fog, too.

Umm, nevermind, I just looked at the cfg file and saw a rather obvious answer. :P

I am sorry to say this, but you seem to have missed some texturing.

Here's how you find it:
1. Go to the room seen on the bottom right screenshot. EDIT: I meant the top right screenshot.
2. Walk over the pipe and climb up the ladder.
3. When you've reached the room, take a look around. There are stone
textures (maybe they should be there?) and if you look up you see there
is no "real" light source. You might find other things as well.

Otherwise, this is a good map.

Also, besides the light up the top in the bottom right screenshot, (I made it! yay! :P) there's several sets of four lights, but there appears to be an invisible one in the center of the clusters that's emitting the light you see. Use realism when lighting places up! :P

Hi Teddy,

as i can see, u worked on your sewers map, i already saw this map (at least a small part of it) in a coop session, i can say, its getting interesting and promising. Your map really has an atmosphere, good idea with the green water and fog. The layout is nice, but imo not everywhere. The big room with the quad for example contains way too much ammo at the same spot, and some other spots could use some more work.

The room with your and ablindman´s blue "Labels" is very nice, i really like it. In another sewer map, u used some decent lights coming from the water, i miss that here, looked great.

U should place some pickup in the empty dead-end-tubes, also in the upper room (access by ladder, ladder could be smoothened out), imho.

Overall, this map has a "feel" and i like the atmosphere, its a nice change to castles and houses and other coop map stuff.

P.S: u could have asked me about that lost map, i always saved all coop session maps. ;)

I ll give u 3/5 stars, i d like to give u another one, when u posted an update ;) Keep it up !
