What has happened to Sauerbraten Enhanced?

Hello everybody.
I have been a fellow user of Q009's mod Sauerbraten Enhanced.
As i heard, that he canceled it i was a little shocked,
so i would like to get some answers on my questions.

Why did he cancel the project?
Is someone thinking about adopting the project?

I have been realy interested in Sauer Enhanced, so i'd really like to know those things.

The reason it was cancelled is so he could work on cubecreate, a sauer fork.
There are a few developers who do not think sauer has a good future, so they do not want to spend their time trying to go around limitations, when their time could be better spent working directly on a cube engine(adding different physics, lighting systems and all that).

And also i had problem with merging Sauer Enhanced with Justice Edition.
I did it serval times but game keept crashing on map load so i decided to leave the project and focus on other stuff...

You will be able to see my work in CubeCreate (A new engine based on Cube 2), CrusH (Sci-fi FPS with more realistic, atmospheric gameplay) and future project: Red Eclipse Enhanced :)

Well, those projects sound interesting,
even though I'm not able to get cubecreate to run.
I will have an eye on them.

Hey Q009, I noticed you recently joined the forums on Urban Terror, if that really is you and not a faker.

Now, I know this sounds unlikely, but just out of curiosity would you ever consider doing some stuff to work for Urban Terror?

hey q009 for the past month i have been working on making a fps game and i would like to use you sauerbraten enhanced but i can not find a link to a linux binary if possible please send me a link to one.

I'm reworking everything. Rewriting from scratch. When I'll adapt with Red Eclipse's code I'll be able to do some more serious stuff with it.
Currently I'm having problem with understanding how to get mod support like in Sauerbraten. Like you can load custom content from different directory... Well that doesn't seem to work the same way in Red Eclipse. That's the only thing that slows me down tho. So be patient and stay tuned for more news.
