Detailed description

(Sorry about the aliased screenshot - my computer doesn't handle 4xAA
My first (decent) map. It is designed to have enough room for about 2 - 6 players in a fight to the death. I recommend enabling "glare".

This map can be modified and redistributed under the condition that the "modifier" give credit to me.

Well, I can't say anything about the packaging, because 7-zip always asks me where I want to extract...
But as for the map, I really don't like it.

All of the Beams of light are truly unnecessary, as is the water (it's just THERE...).
Your "1 way cube" isn't 1 way...and you can stand in it and see that "there's nothing there" glitch that happens when you fall outside of a map...and I don't see any effort into making the 2nd area more intricate at all.

Textures: I dunno what to say...

I'm giving it a 2 mostly because, well...besides the center structure, it would seem like one of those maps that took someone "5 minutes to make"...not to be mean.

In the future it would be best to post maps that contain more realism or more effort. Particle effects are cool but they can not be all that the map contains.

Which is pretty much what I was trying to convey in my comment...I just didn't want to come off as a troll, seeing as I have work to do with my mapping skills as well (I can come up with an idea and work with it, but I always come across things I can't make, or I can't complete).

It is helpful to get your idea, and put it on paper, or write it down. You try to figure out the details ( depending on what it is ) before you start building; the main details, that is. Smaller ones come later. Work from large to small.

When you are building and find there is something you can't do, it may be because your trying something too big for you. Try it again, but take it one piece, or cube, at a time. Things may be time consuming, but I've found that I was able to make a good many things I thought I couldn't.
