Detailed description

Not my first map, but my first submission to Quadropolis.

This is a remake of the classic starting map from the first Doom, released 17 years ago. Differences between this version and the Doom version (apart from the choice of engine) are a larger monster count (89), a large outdoor area (with about half the monsters) and a slightly different layout (don't worry, it still looks nothing like a hangar).

This map has is on quadropolis like 4 times. And your version is not particulary the best.

its just very inaccurate to the original. I've seen better remakes of this map.

Cool. Cool cool. Probably the best rendition of Hangar I have seen on Quadropolis, as it is SP centred. :P
Great gameplay. Just like the original and very well executed. The layout is almost exactly the same, the sizes are accurate too. The detail is enough for the map, and gives it that Doom-level-remake feel. The extra bit you added was pretty cool too, outside the armour area, though you might want to make it a bit more visible. Like put a border around the glass - or was it supposed to be secret?

Overall, I think this map is great, and by far surpasses the other E1M1 remakes on Quadropolis. The idea is very well executed. Quite possibly my favourite bit is the fact that you managed to retain one of the most prominent features of the original map - it looks nothing like a hangar. :P
