Blurb Make a pretty screenshot - with no HUD, HUDGUN or stats on it

Detailed description

This alias is best bound to something like F9 (just uncomment the last line for that);
then you can either call the "normal" F12 (which just does screenshot) or you call
MPscreenshot and it will hide all it can from the screen,
take the screenshot and restore your view to what it was before.

This is an alias which I like to use especially when preparing screenshots for quadropolis :-)

EDIT: adapted to auto-toggle from editmode to regular view (so materials look right, no grid, ...) and will toggle back to editing after having made the screenshot.
It also toggles the gamespeed to 10 - so you don't need to have any geometry to stand on, where you want to make the shot - due to the slow gamespeed you will only drop a fractional amount of a cube ;-)

This is only a small script, the meATpAk itself has a lot of other stuff to offer.
You might also want to try out QCSP - since meATpAk is a script-pak I did quite a while ago.
They both work by calling the additional scripting via the exec command from autoexec.cfg:
Like so:
exec packages/mySCRIPTS/run_my_scripts.cfg

it makes a screenshot but it doesnt hide anything.it works the same as F12.
what did i do wrong?

my only explanation - since you're the first to have an issue after so long -
is you could maybe be on a slow box. Then you might want to increase the sleep timers to ensure it works .. YMMV (your mileage may vary) ... if you set them to something above 20,30 respectively ... or even 200, 300 and are still not even seeing the hud display flicker off and on .. then it could only be an error while copying. *shrug*

I also encountered difficulty getting this script to run correctly. It *does* take a screenshot, but all hud stuff is still present in the screen taken. But, quin had me give his simple screenshot bind a shot that looks to be similar, and it turned out that the wait in it wasnt long enough. I cranked it up to 60 or something, and it worked fine.

Yes, those damn timers used to be waaaay higher - before the timer-code was fixed,
then I cut back on them as much as I could ... later it came to me, that slower machines might require higher delays;
I'll rework it a bit to make it more easily adaptable. Thanks for the feedback - especially since you already researched a fix - I appreciate it!
