I took a quick tour throughout your map to say its awesome. The lighting at best is perfect. But if your place i'd take some more time to give a nice feeling to the map. Quake textures are hard to use.

I did find 2 texture mistakes at your quad base. the yellow scrolling texture has 1 blue on in it.

Apart from that, you should pay attention to the fact that quake textures come in sizes. So you must make sure that the textures you selected, have a start and an end (see vents that end without a texture indicating that over doorways). Most commonly, you should make sure that texture widths and lengths match on all sides for the optimal visuals of quake based maps.

If these are fixed, my rating shall go to 10 without doubt. but for now i'll give it a 7.

edit: you might also want to offset the lights a bit for them to fit in correctly in some places, where they are just 2 opposite halves and give a weird look. If you require pics of what i speak of, just tell me so

The layout of this map is great. After just a few minutes of wandering about, it already has a classic feel.

The geometry and texturing is clean, detailed, and crisp. I would not say that these aspects of the map are necessarily spectacular individually, but the overall quality level was high, so this did not really matter.

I also really enjoyed the colors of this map, although the overall color scheme and lighting were a little rough in some areas. Still, the lighting and colors made this map memorable and it really stands, especially among maps using the quake textures.

One main thing to note besides Razgriz's comments:

* The offset scrolling textures just seemed out of place to me and I believe that slightly insetting these instead would probably be better. There are probably reasons behind this geometry decision, but I think it is something to try out.

The map so huge and feels great. it makes a good use of the quake textures. 10/10
