Detailed description

All shocktroopers please suit up and report to
the dropship in hangar 82. Be advised, this is
not a drill.
.........alert..............alert............

Go to your directory, /sauerbraten/packages/models/monster/ogro and move skin.jpg and tris.md2 to another place. I use the CVS folder that is in that directory. Download and unzip the shock zip into the now empty Ogro folder. When you want to switch back to Ogro just replace the Ogro .md2 and .jpg.

Very nice to see a character!

It works pretty good, animations are very nice as well and fit the character :).
My only crit is the use of uv-space. A lot of waste there :(

You should mirror parts like legs, arms and bottom of feet on the uv map as well. This way you could have gotten more pixels on it. I know the puzzle can cause headaches, but be sure to use as many pixels as you can. Also, less important parts can be scaled down a little to fit..
The skin is simple but solid, though it gets a little hard to see details when the shading is on it. Could have used a bit more contrast and crispyness.

Hi, i'm new to Sauerbraten etc, so i'll try and keep my first post short and sweet (and spelt correct).

That ShockTrooper Skin for the orgo looks cool:

1. How was it done (what program was used)?
2. Do you think there is any possiblity that it will be available for Mac?

Thats a nice piece of work by the way, 10/10, good when used in futuristic maps. :D

Yes, it works with a mac! The software that was used was Blender. You can find it on their website.

Note: Blender is difficult to use.

For question number 2, You can already use it for a mac. Just follow the directions in the Readme.

And to the author, Nice job! I was getting tired of the default model.
