have you checked you game's directory? usually screenshots are saved in there with random numbered names. Unfortunately when you take pics you might want to make a folder to put them in. Although that SHOULD be fixed with the new release. screenshots should be saved separately from the rest of the files..

Try: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Sauerbraten\

copy this into your autoexec.cfg and bind screen to F12 or PRINT

if you dont want hud on the screen

your screens should be now saved in screens/
if not create the folder

or also, you can try to change screenshot format.

It's a thing like /screenshotformat 0,1,2, etc...

Well, I finally got it to take screenshots.

I told it to put them in some bogus directory c:\asdfg and it worked, then when I did it normally they went into my sauer directory as they are wont to do.

The real kicker? When I was uploading them onto an image site ALL the screenshots I tried to take were visible in the upload images folder that came up, I even checked if hidden files were visible and they were. So I got phantom images in my sauer directory. Fun. Of course they're all the same view of ugly green tile and the morning skybox, so whatever.
