Detailed description

Newcube is a mod of Cube I made ages ago. It's not very playable, but does have a cool single-player campaign and a few new maps. Here is a list of just some of the features:

* New trigger effects.
* Re-integrated LOD.
* All new music.
* Fixed loads of bugs.
* Improved savemap (doesn't mangle precise texturing).
* New sky boxes from Skiingpenguins (they're well cool).
* Improved the particle effects.
* All new textures.
* Improved the weapon selection system.
* Skill level is now saved when you quit the game.
* Red menus.
* All new enemies and guns.
* Independent monster sight sounds (ooh, I'm proud of that).
* Improved game modes with bug fixes.
* Fall damage.
* Fire particle effect.
* An improved editing interface.
* Guaranteed nought percent Braille.

Waah! Someone deleted all the comments preceding this one! There was basically a well long discussion about how I shouldn't have multiple nodes for different versions of the same project and stuff. So, I cleared it all up, which is what I should have done a long time ago.

isnt it a bad idea, to try to help with bloodfrontier?

because u would get much less problems with all licenses of cube engine (2).

did u get permission of using (and changing) the hudgun(skins) of summer edition? maybe another idea, but i once saw a content with a machinegun hudgunskin that pretty fits with ur skins of pistol and shotgun, maybe a nice idea to use (ask be4 use first of course ;P)? the contents are:

the animations arent workin fine anymore, because u moded cube engine, but it doesnt crashes the game or makin a glitch.

btw, i liked the old skin of vac more :P.

Hudguns from Summer edition?? Oh no. I got them from really old versions of Cube and Sauerbraten, and from this.

As for the shocktrooper guns, I would have used them - but it would have been difficult to tell which one you were using as there are only two models.

And as for the Vacron skin, I had to change it due to licensing issues.

I just played this, an I must say, I LOVE the game play for SP. It's very sound; quake like. The game is fast, the monsters move fast, they hit hard enough and they are all killed with a reasonable amount of damage. Only weird thing would be frogs jumping around shooting giant projectiles, but meh.

Glad you enjoyed it, the frogs are hell enemies.
