1)i've created dark lights because the level must be scary(if i put normal lights you can see the map traps)

2)I know the level has got no story but in the older versions of cube 2 there were SP levels without story

3)I haven't stolen the idea from Legend of sauer

4)For create this map I was inspired to the game Quake 1.Have you played it?

5)Mitaman doesn't use the script "ambient N"(N means number)so his levels aren't dark.i've used this script for the first time in this map and for me it's really cool.

6)I'm starting to hate DM maps because i see 300.000 persons in this website doing only DM maps.

7)(And the last one)SP maps aren't difficult to build for me!

to 1) If you would work with noclip insteap of mapmodels the players would not see any "Traps"
to 6) Quadropolis has olny about 3000 Members, i think, and not all of them are doing DM-Maps…
the lights are so dark, you could even dont see some entrances…

to 1)but the noclip is useless in the final part. when you take the axe the trapdoors in the roof of the cave opens and monsters falls on you

it's not difficult to find the exit of the first trap:a light torch can be seen and that's the exit(not the end of the map)

Maybe the problem is the computer gamma:our gamma is different.

you used ambient in a kind of negative way. you did ambient 1.. that means you have to light every spot yourself if you dont want it completly black.

a SP map shouldnt be a jump'n'run .. it should be more a tactical or stratical game.
since sauerbraten is a FPS game you shouldnt make a jumpnrun out of it, not in SP games.

mapmodels shouldnt fill a map..
you should use mapmodels for things what arent able with cubes.. for example: trees, and moving models
