Detailed description

This is a 64x64 crosshair pack I made with GIMP.
These are not ordinary crosshairs, cuz they're displays 3color health bar: Red-Green-Blue when >50hp, Red-Green-Black when 26...50hp and Red-Black, when 1...25hp (it maybe not so cool in words, try it in game).
There are 3 crosshair sets: circle, X-type and X-type with brackets, all of these 3 subdivides into 3 groups: simple white crosshair, white crosshair with health bar and red crosshair with HP bar.
For X-type crosshairs it have alternate "line" crosshairs for zoom mode.

I really hope that you will like these crosshairs, and waiting for your comments!

great pack of crosshairs ! I like the health bar, but can you make the health bar not in +50, 25-50 and -25 ?
Like -10 10-20 20-30 30-40 etc...

Unfortunately, I cannot make bar like in your example, cuz 'crosshairfx' provides only 3 colors by the moment: white, orange and red; White is R+G+B, orange is R+G, red is R only. It means, you can see all 3 colors from healthbar when all three channels are visible, red and green, when only 2 channels, and only red, when only one channel. It describes why healthbar can be only red, green and blue colors.
If in future crosshair will change color smoothly, your suggested way may work.
IMO, 3 colors enough for player: he/she will know if it's necessary to pick up a health pack.

Starred, just for the sheer ingenuity of it. Nice job adjusting for the hard coded colours :D

MX: Tell me if you're interested in working on some stuff like this for Blood Frontier. Could do so much more with the right tweaks to the code, we've already done some experimental crosshair stuff. This is just the tip of the iceberg for how useful that little dot can be :P

heh, the tricks the crosshairs have are very nice, i didnt know that this is possible :)
I don't like that the crosshairs look a bit "comic-like", but it's just my opinion. I think i'll try to make this too^^

But: I think that im not the only player who bound something to mouse3, so you shouldn't let the cfg just overwrite it. You could make a gui that pops up when the cfg is executed, that asks if the player wants to overwrite the bind.

No, it's mod made by me. I'm not from the mX clan, but my (old?) nickname is mx(MX/|RB|mx). Last time I found that there are a lot of things named *mx*, too.
Probably, I will change my nickname to RMax

Try to find special crosshair actions in your default.cfg (maybe there is a MOUSE1 binding that sets crosshairsize to some value)

i think you did a great job with the cross hairs and scripting but a few things stand out as not noob-friendly, the Readme is missing an extension making it unusable until you give it one (.txt worked fine for me), in the read me you failed to point out that you should place all of the configuration files (cfg) in the sauerbraten folder, and what is the extension-less file "COPYING" for? besides that great job, looking forward to more!

How did you get rid of transparency? I've been trying for a bit, and all my colors come out faded. =[

Any protips from the pro?

Edit: This has also inspired me to make my own healthbar 'hairz. They turned out great! Thanks for inspiring!
